WordCamp Atlanta Tickets On Sale Thursday at 10:00 AM

We’re happy to announce that WordCamp Atlanta is officially on the calendar!

WordCamp Atlanta 2015 will be held March 28 and 29th at the Loudermilk Center. The fee for the two day camp is still the best deal in town at $40.00. This includes two days of camp, lunches, snacks and a t-shirt. Amazing.

This year, by popular demand, we are holding a full-day Beginners Pre-camp  on Friday March 27, also at the Loudermilk Center, for as many beginners as want to come. We will be reserving the Loudermilk Ballroom that has plenty of room for all. During the day, beginners will be able to set up a simple site and learn how to use it. Having the entire day will give our newbies time to practice before regular camp sessions. This session will be an additional $20.00 for a total ticket price of $60.00 for the three days.

While you are waiting for this awesome event, you can sign-up for our updates, go to a local WordPress Meetup and check out the WordPress goodness at WordPress TV to see WordCamp presentations from WordCamps all over the world.

FYI – I just purchased tix to this year’s WordCamp. I purchased for the Beginner’s Day AND the weekend, and was charged $100 for the entire thing ($40 for the weekend, and $60 for Beginner’s Day), instead of just the $60 promised. You need to fix the PayPal link so people are not overcharged. Please help — I need a refund for the excess $40 charged!!!

Judy, my direct email reply to the email address you used for registration bounced. Please use the Contact form on the site and let me know the best way to reach you.

I’m trying to purchase ticket for WordCamp Atlanta. The system is not recognizing that I’m entering one ticket that includes the Friday session ($60) and seems to want me to choose the kid camp, too, before allowing me to register?? Help please. Thank you.

We would like 3 tickets if they come available:

    1) Kathy Grawe
    2) Debby Ezra
    3) Karen Croom

    Thanks,

If you know that this event is this popular why don’t you plan for it by securing a bigger venue! This is ridiculous that it’s the day it goes on sale and tickets are already sold out. Yes it’s because people want to come and learn more but also because of poor planning. I attended Miami Wordcamp last year where they hosted at the University of Miami, with well over a 1,000 people in attendance so that it could accommodate ALL who are interested. HIRE AN EVENT PLANNER NEXT YEAR!!!!

I know it is frustrating. It has been very difficult to find a place to host WordCamp Atlanta that we can afford when we have to keep the ticket prices at 20.00 per day. Miami had their venue donated. We have not been able to get a University to host us. If you would like to join the committee and find a venue for us next year, your help would be greatly appreciated. We are all volunteers here and we are not allowed to hire event planners.
